It’s winter, it’s cold and we’re discussing… Fireplaces! Last week we saw how the new electric console fireplaces (that’s a fireplace built into a television center or console) can add warmth to a room without the need to rip out a wall and spend lots of hard earn money installing a permanent fireplace. This week let’s look at how we can use a portable fireplace to warm up any space that you’re in.

Portable Fireplace: These stunning pieces come in an array of shapes and sizes. The best part about them is that you can literally pick them up and place them in whatever room you wish and anywhere in the room that you chose! This means that they don’t have an electrical cord attached to them so they’re a little different from electric fireplaces. Because they are freestanding and can float in the middle of a space, they are powered not with electricity but using several different methods.

These fireplaces use natural gas and liquid fuels, such as denatured ethanol and propane, that burn cleanly. This is obviously very important for indoor applications. Some people even take them on camping trips or romantic picnics! Come on, what more can your ask for!!?
