Mealey's Furniture sponsors Ronald McDonald House Charities of PhiladelphiaThe "Change the Luck of a Child" phone bank benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Philadelphia was held on March 20th, 2012. This event has helped to raise more than $900,000 for the charity — money that goes towards the health and well-being of children in the Greater Philadelphia Region. We are proud to be a sponsor and donated $5,000 on behalf of our guests at Mealey's Furniture. Just look at our "walls of luck"! See the pictures.
Mealey's Awards a Free Houseful of Furniture to a Family or Person in NeedMealey's has demonstrated its holiday spirit by giving away a free houseful of furniture to a deserving person. Congratulations to Bill Wilson of Mount Laurel, NJ, who has been selected to receive beautiful Mealey's furniture for his living room, dining room and bedroom. Hopefully this year his Christmas will be a little brighter. Congratulations also go to the two semi-finalists who were both awarded a $1000 Mealey's Furniture gift certificate.
Mealey's Honored with Award from The Red CrossTo commemorate the opening of its Warminster store, Mealey's Furniture donated a percentage of all sales during the months of July and August to provide more than a half-ton of needed supplies for wounded veterans. In response, the American Red Cross has honored Mealey's for its support of the new Service to the Armed Forces program for 2008.
Mealey's Honored by Penndel Mental HealthPenndel Mental Health has honored Mealey's Furniture with their "Community Development Award" and a State Senate Resolution at their first Community Awards Banquet. Pennsylvania State Senator Robert M. Tomlinson commended Mealey's for its ongoing support throughout Bucks County and donations of more than $500,000 of goods and services to deserving organizations and individuals during the past two years. |
